Knights of Columbus Blood Drive Collects 28 Units

Knights of Columbus Fr. Nelligan Council 5730 and the New York Blood Center collected 28 units of blood during a community blood drive held August 31 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains.

The drive was organized to help address the seasonal blood shortage that can intensify during the summer.

Fr. Nelligan Council 5730, which is affiliated with Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains, plans to hold a winter blood drive. For information about future events, contact council5730@gmail.com.
