Located at 1741 East Second Street in Scotch Plains, the nonprofit shop will offer gifts for children ranging from infants to teens. The selection includes baby dolls, Barbie dolls, princess dolls, vintage dolls and accessories, along with scooters, toy soldiers, Legos, Hess trucks and Thomas the Train toys.
Shoppers can also look for stuffed animals, board games, craft kits, books, puzzles and small stocking stuffers. Featured brands include Melissa & Doug, Disney, Fisher-Price and Mattel. According to the Service League, merchandise is either new or in excellent condition.
Holiday decorations and seasonal bric-a-brac will also be available beginning November 3, giving visitors a chance to shop for their homes as well as their gift lists. The organization encourages shoppers to visit early for the best selection.
Purchases support more than holiday gift-giving. Members of the public donate all merchandise, and Service League volunteers sort, price and sell the items. After store overhead is covered, profits are distributed annually through grants to charitable organizations and college scholarships.
The Service League reports that approximately $50,000 was donated in each of 2025 and 2026. The annual sale offers residents an opportunity to stretch their holiday budgets while contributing to that community support.
Regular shop hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For questions, call 908-322-5420 during business hours.
The shop will be closed November 24 through November 27 for Thanksgiving week and will reopen Saturday, November 28, for Small Business Saturday.
