Callers who know an employee’s extension can press the **# key followed by the four-digit extension**. Otherwise, the telephone menu directs callers to the appropriate department:
- **1:** Clerk’s Office, licensing and elections - **2:** Finance, tax and utility billing - **3:** Public Works, metal recycling, water and sewer service, engineering and planning - **4:** Building and permits - **5:** Human Resources, Communications and the Town Manager’s Office, including garbage and recycling inquiries - **6:** Municipal Court - **7:** Health Department, birth certificates and vital statistics - **8:** Recreation & Senior Services programs, sports and pools - **9:** Fire Department - **0:** Operator
After selecting a department, callers can follow the additional menu prompts.
The main number also connects callers to the Senior/Community Center and Fire Headquarters. Previously established separate numbers for the Health Department, Recreation & Senior Services and Fire Department remain available.
