Food will be available from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. while supplies last, giving guests a chance to sample traditional dishes before the celebration continues at 7 p.m. with Garba and Raas dances. Attendees are invited to bring their dandiya and join the performances.
"Year after year, the Festival of India showcases the rich traditions of our Indo-American community and brings neighbors together in celebration," said Mayor Joseph Signorello Jr. "I encourage everyone to come out, experience the culture and celebrate our community's diversity, pride and unity."
The festival is free to attend and open to all ages. For more information, contact Community Center Director Rupen Shah at rshah@rosellepark.gov or 908-245-0666.
