Keeping dogs and cats current on rabies vaccination protects pets and the people who care for them. Rabies is nearly always fatal once symptoms begin, and raccoons, skunks, bats and foxes are among the animals that commonly carry it in the United States. The clinic offers a convenient way for local pet owners to stay on top of that protection.
Owners whose last names begin with A–M should attend from 9 to 10 a.m. Those with last names beginning with N–Z should attend from 10 to 11 a.m.
Dogs must be on non-retractable leashes, and cats must be in soft carriers. All pets must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is required. To register, call the Cranford Health Department at 908-709-7299.
